OCAC Distributes Library Assets To Local Institutions

June 21, 2019

We are pleased to announce that Oregon College of Art and Craft (OCAC) has dispersed nearly 12,000 items from the campus library.  This includes books, special collections, publications, periodicals, and ephemera.  The OCAC library contained a specialized curated collection of books and periodicals about craft, photography, ceramics, painting and drawing, book arts, metals, wood, art history, and the creative process.  We were able to re-home more than 6,000 books to local libraries and arts-education organizations.  The more than 5,000 remaining books and periodicals will be utilized by The Friends of the Hillsboro Public Library for charitable purposes to benefit the Hillsboro Public Library.
