The Portland Rose Festival | Oak Knoll Wine 2019 Wine Label Design Competition is here! Enter for a chance to win a $1,000 Scholarship and more. OCAC student Winona Hwang won in 2017! In fact, OCAC students have won every year except for 2018. Reclaim the label in 2019!

The winning artist will receive a $1,000 Scholarship, broad public exposure through VIP Rose Festival events, a public unveiling of the new label in spring, a variety of public appearances and bottle signings, and more!

DEADLINE: Completed entries must be submitted to Liz Loulan in the ADMIN BUILDING by 5 pm on Tuesday, January 22, the first day of classes after Winter Break.

REQUIRED INFO THAT MUST BE INCLUDED ON THE LABEL, BUT NOT NECESSARILY ON THE ORIGINAL SUBMISSION OF ARTWORK FOR JUDGING:
• Oak Knoll Logo (Digital files: www.oakknollwinery.com
• Appellation – Willamette Valley
• Varietal – Pinot Noir or Pinot Gris
• Vintage of wine – 20? (TBD) 
• Alcohol content – ALC % BY VOL. 
• Verbiage – 2019 Rose Festival Collectors Series

On the Oak Knoll website, you will find the logo and examples of current wine labels. The Rose Festival Association has selected this year’s theme and created a logo for “LET'S FESTIVAL.” Portland Rose Festival digital logos and art: www.rosefestivalresources.com. 

The winner will help transform his/her artwork into a wine label by participating in the printing setup process with Rose City Label Company. The winning art design becomes property of Oak Knoll Winery and must be approved by the TBB (Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau).
