Brooke Greene

The artist spends time contemplating and defining her artistic concept of skin, and its relationship to the internal and external psyche of humans. Green combines skins and furs with ceramic to create three figurative sculptures that are simultaneously animal and human. The body is intentionally left unfinished, although she experiments with using fur, skin and steel to create forms to represent the abstract sense of an ambiguous body.
