Lindsay Michelle Costello

Costello is interested in the in-between spaces of memory and recall. How does memory change over time, and how can our stories be retold and represented visually. To her, textiles are the ultimate storytellers. Her project investigates these ideas in several ways: a poetic essay book, and an installation of hand-dyed latch hook floor covering pieces that coexist with woven wall hangings.
